Hey guys!

I'm new here, and new to planted tanks, but definitely not new to aquariums! I'm looking forward to starting on my new 70g planted with your help!

My first question -
I found a 48" Zoo Med Deluxe Slider Hood on craigslist for a steal (link to item below) I went ahead and picked it up, because I got such a good deal. Can I use this on my upcoming 70g planted? Are there any non-heat bulbs I can put in on it? Moonlight? Blacklight? Would the one flourescent bulb be enough?

Or, should I just sell it? I'm doing this project on a budget, what would you recommend?

So it has 2 normal sockets and a spot for a tube fluorescent? Stick daylight bulbs, 6500/6700k, in all of them and try it.
