So I have a planted 40 gallon breeder first planted tank. At the moment the flora are dwarf hair grass, java fern, crypt lutea, m. Crenata, crypt wendtii.
Tank specs:
40g breeder
pH 7.8 (using sea chem acid buffer) think the pH is high due to the ammonia
Kh 5
Ammonia 2.0 (cycling)
Nitrite .25
Temp 76 F
Substrate miracle gro organic potting
After a week everything is looking good but the dwarf hair grass is not thriving and the crypt wendtii is melting slowly.
Should I keep using the 25 watt flora t-8 tubes or switch to the stock 30 watt mainland daylight t-8? Thanks for any advice
