does it matter what grade (S or T) i use? i'll be using it in conjunction with MTS. planning on a heavily planted CRS tank.

The t-grade is the size you want. The S is very fine sand. The t-size works great and really holds plants down well and can even hold a slope pretty well. I think the s would pack down to much.
