I'm going to be setting up a 38 gallon tank soon which is 36x12x20. I would like to try to keep it lower tech and have some decent plants that could grow under medium light possibly? I thought of possibly using a USA Current Satellite plant + 36 inch, but something tells me it would be too much light.
Anybody have any ideas on how to light it? I'm not sure if it would be better to go with LEDs or T5HO. I used to have an Aquaticlife 36 inch T5HO on my old 40 breeder tank and it used to do a great job without having hardly any algae, but I know the 38 is taller. Do they even still make the Aquaticlife T5HO fixtures any more?
