I have a 30 gal hex that is 24" deep. Currently I have two long pieces of driftwood crossed from bottom to top with java fern, laced and plane, attached to the wood to keep them high enough for the lousy light on this tank.

I would really like to change the look of the tank so it would be easier to see the fish. 6 blackskirt Tetra's and a Dwarf Gourami.

I'm wondering if a Finnex FugeRay Planted+ Aquarium LED Light Plus Moonlights

would be strong enough to get to the bottom of the tank so I could cut the wood into smaller pieces?

The other option is a Finnex 24/7. I have one on my 75g, which is 20" deep, and love it but don't know how it would do with the the deeper tank. I know it's only 4 inches but I really want to get this right the first time.

There is no co2 in the hex just flourish twice a week and flourish excel once a week.
