We have a well established 30 gallon with 8 Corydoras Pygmaeus, 5 longfin leopard Danios, a baby True SAE and 4 newly added baby Kribensis. It is heavily planted with peat capped with eco complete and black sand.
The filter is a sunsun 264 gph.

I hate the Danios, they are too frantic and I'm worried the Cories aren't getting enough to eat.

Tonight we are putting up the new 60 gallon, the Danios are moving over once everything is up and going, I will be seeding it with media from our other tank and heavily planting. It will have Black Diamond Blasting sand.

In a week or so one pair of Kribs will join the Danios. The second pair will be moved over as well, in another week or two.

My husband loves Long Fin Serpae tetras, so I'm thinking a school of 15 would be good in the 60. Will that be enough to mitigate nipping?

That leaves only the bitty Cories in my 30 and the SAE which will outgrow the tank and be moved over as well in time.
What would be a good calm centerpiece for the tank? I would love a Pearl Gourami but I think we have too much flow. I would be happy with a school of nanos too, maybe microrasbora erythromicron or the tiny Rainbows?

I think I managed to upload a picture of my 30, it has filled in quite a bit and the stem plants have been replaced with a giant Wisteria and two large Swords.
Our parameters are good at NH3-0,NO2-0, and NO3-is about 15, PH is 7.0 and temp is 78.
We have very hard water, but with the peat and DIY CO2 it has been holding steady at 7 for several months.

I've been dealing with the normal Diatom Algae but it seems to be calming down.

I should think so. Or, at least, that many will give you a good shot at limiting it. That will be a beautiful shoal, btw.
I think it will be pretty too, I'm planning on lots of large easy plants, Jungle Val, Java Fern and maybe a Tiger Lotus or very large Sword. With the black background that Orange should really pop! The black sand and background will tie it all in.

Is 60 large enough for both pairs of Kribs? Given plenty of caves and hiding spots?
I'm thinking I want to up my school of Corydoras Pygmaeus from 8 to 20 and add a school of either tiny rasboras or P. Gertrudea to my 30.

Easily. And plenty of hiding spots are important, The kribs will feel more secure.

Again, in a 60 I think this should be no problem. Pygmy corys don't produce a huge bioload. The purple variant of rasbora heteromorpha would be lovely.
Kribs in full breeding colour is all you need for an awesome tank.

I actually meant in my 30, the cories are so tiny that 8 of them are barely noticable. 20 might be pushing it if I add anything to the top levels, but 15 and 10 or so other tiny schoolers seems enough. A group of male Endlers might even be nice, very calm with a pop of color.
