I've finally talked my boyfriend into gutting his 29 gal and re-doing it as a planted tank! :biggrin:

I *think* we plan to stock it with mostly schoolers and a couple bottom fish. He is very partial to rummynose tetras. I really like celestial pearl danios - but they are expensive! I like cardinals but he does not, and we have to agree on every fish that goes in there.

Any combo suggestions?

I'm with your boyfriend on the rummies, I love them! Bottom fish...are you more of a catfish or loach fan?

I find my Harlequin Rasboras and Panda Cories school often and very tightly for a nice effect. Only problem with these two is that they are basically the same color so nothing really stands out.
