Looks like Cryptocoryne wendtii var.'Flamingo'. Nice plant and makes a stunning focal point.

I have to say it is my favorite in the tank, and it has a sister on the other end thats nearly the same size. In the last week it has sent up a daughter about 6” from the main plant. So i may need to think about thinning soon.

CoveBeach that is an amazing tank! I love how the Val is just taking full advantage of that height, usually I see them grow so long they're laying over the surface and blocking all the light again.

I may have missed it somewhere in your posts, but can you remind me what kind of substrate you went with?

That's some public aquarium level hardware and plumbing design for that tank ! Totally blown away by every little thing from start to finish on this tank.

Thanks for the kind words. The scale of the tank is a bit beyond what most people would consider normal. Even my wife had concerns at first but since the tank has grown in she takes great pride in showing and explaining about it. When it comes to the plumbing she leaves the explaining to me LOL. At the moment i have 2 pairs of angels spawning and a trio of red bushynose plecos with babies. Also probably 50 or more guppy fry that are hanging in the top plants. In addition to that there are 30 more guppies in a 40 breeder i have netted out of the sump. So i’m not sure on my stocking numbers at the moment, but it’s probably around 200-250 fish. Another fun fact, i lost sight of a 2.5” Galaxy pleco for 3 months. It showed its face the other day and is now 3” long and very healthy, we thought it had died. Silly me.

Here is a quick pic from today, just added 6 roseline barbs and 18 more cardinal teteras yesterday. Still need to trim back the forest some more.

Another fun fact, i lost sight of a 2.5” Galaxy pleco for 3 months. It showed its face the other day and is now 3” long and very healthy, we thought it had died. Silly me.

Yeah it's funny--you buy a fish to look at enjoy and they disappear for seemingly ages, lol. We have..3? schools of Corydoras but only the Albino corys hang out at the front. At least a clown loach or two shows up around feeding time!
