I'm getting a 20lb aluminum cause it is lighter and has handles. Its more money but the parents are willing to pay for it (I showed them the cheaper options but they wanted to rather go with this.....I ain't arguing).

My one question though is if I need to worry about them taking longer to refill this. I get the feeling that I wouldn't be swapping this, so it wouldn't be an issue to get a place to just refill my co2 on the spot right?

As long as you can find a location that will fill it on the spot for you, rather than swapping out your cylinder, you should be fine.

+1. The Airgas here in Charlotte will fill your tank if you specifically ask: sometimes they will swap it out for you, like if it was due for a hydro or visual inspection. It doesn't take long at all for them to fill it as well.

Dude, that is PIMPIN'. Since this is going to be out and visible...I'm kinda tempted to do this at some point. How long does the shine last?
OMG, and if I can make my regulator super shiny as well

The shine lasts for as long as u take care of it.
I wax my bottle every time it gets filled. Takes about 2 minutes total, to put on and take off

I just got a shiny new aluminum 5 lb one, and I'm not swapping it either. I wouldn't worry about fill time. I can't imagine it takes that long. To find a place that fills I just went to google maps in my area and searched for "gas service" and started calling. Within 5-10 minutes I had a list of half a dozen local places with prices that would fill it while you wait. The most convenient one was also the cheapest, so I got lucky. Expect to pay about $4-5 extra for a fill vs exchange. Every place I called charged extra for a fill vs. exchange.

Fill time shouldn't be a concern. It would just be twice as long as the 10lbs heh. The plus side is you probably won't have to worry about it for a year (depending how large and how much cO2 it's consuming)

What I meant by fill time was that, I saw a thing somewhere saying that some places would take your tank and not get it filled for like a few days or something stupid like that. I found a place, I believe, that will just get it filled for me.

Now all I need is the second diffuser and to make the tank shiny while I wait .
