Right now I have 8 pygmy cories in the tank. I'm thinking of getting more, but I don't know what else to get. This is where I need you guys' help. Any suggestions? Right now I'm looking for:

-A centerpiece fish
-Some schooling fish (nano; 1 in. or less)
-A shoal of bottom-feeders (already got them)
-possibly an algae eater.

Keep in mind my tank has an open top and has moderately fast flowing water, so no anabantoids. Also, I can't have any fish that could tear up glosso or hydrocotyle. Thanks guys.

-A centerpiece fish- With an open top I would stay away from the most common Gourami/Betta/Hatchet ideas, and go for a lower tank centerpiece. German Blue Rams or other Dwarf Cichlid, perhaps Apistos. Not always a great mix with Cories, though. Badis badis. Sparkling Gourami.
-Some schooling fish (nano; 1 in. or less) Featherfin Rainbows. Any of the smallest Rasboras. There are several species that are various shades of red, and a blue one that is really showy.
-A shoal of bottom-feeders (already got them)
-possibly an algae eater. Otos. If you want something different look into Zebra Otos.

Boraras briggatae and ember tetras are my favorite really small schoolers.

Centerpeice can be GBR

And i like the idea of zebra ottos, but they are expensive

Centerpiece could be honeycomb cats, but they will hide for most of the time.
