Hello, I currently have an 18watt marineland f18t8 natural daylight bulb. My tank is 12x12x30. Is this bulb strong enough for plants that need medium light? If not, is there a specific one (brand, wattage, etc) that anyone could recommend? Any help appreciated!

@ 12" the one should do it.. Maybe a dual t8 shop-light fixture for more light, but you may need co2 then or have to raise the light.

Thanks for the quick response! With the wattage I currently have do you think I could do any high light plants, or is medium the limit?
