I've been keeping fish for over a decade now. I currently have two freshwater tanks and a 60 gallon saltwater system.
Got the itch to turn the 20 gallon into a planted tank recently and this is what I came up with.

Plants:
Anubias
myrio
some kind of sword?
red root

Livestock:
Male and Female guppies (one is pregnant)
1 apple snail

Substrate:
Eco-complete and Seachem Fluorite; also added some Caribsea Moonlight

Filter:
Aqua Clear 30
Sponge filter

I want to add a few more low light plants and if the guppies multiple, upgrade to a 40B

Feedback and suggestions welcomed!

Java Fern would be another great plant addition for the mid-ground background. Cryptocoryne wendtii would be another good one to add for the foreground to mid-ground, I might suggest some root tabs with those for your substrates.
