Where ever you buy it from, it should have the height dimension given to you. A 20lb CO2 tank alone may be in the 27" tall range. Add another 3 inches to that with the regulator.
You should be able to use a 5 lb or a 10lb tank on a 75G. A 10lb tank will last a very long time on a 75G; a 5 lb tank will last a few months (I'm guessing 3 months) and also be fine.
