what is better and more functional for keeping 2 species of shrimp. red cherry and crystal red, is it easier to keep 2 x 10 gal tank or divide 20 gal long with glass and keep shrimp separate. these 2 require different water parameters, but i would love to have different species in one place

I have RCS and CRS in a 20L. The RCS out breed the CRS of course but my CRS are getting berried and hatching babies no problem. My CRS are lower grade though. Im using ro water with salty shrimp gh+ and dirt capped with fluval shrimp stratum.
