I figured Id post this here to get more input:

I bought these 2 plants today at petco. 1 was labled: Ludwigia Palustrus(?) and the other was unlabeled. I was wondering abotu them because the Ludwigia doesnt have the same leaves as the species in pictures that I look up. The other was quoted rotala by lauralee, but it is kinda skimpy compared to its internet pictures. Is it just young?

I would also like to know if I should bury these plants' roots, tie them to somthing, or what?

The 1st one probably is Ludwigia. It was probably grown emersed, so it looks different. The second one is Rotala rotundifolia.

Do I need to bury the roots? Or is it like java moss? Do I tie it to somthing?
