2 Finnex Planted+ 24/7 on 55's?

Anyone running a Finnex Planted+ 24/7 (or two) in 24/7 mode on a 55 gallon setup? I have two 48" models on a new 55 gallon high tech setup currently on a timer on their high setting, but couldn't find if anyone has had success running 24/7 mode for high light+tech on a similar sized tank. Mine is newly planted in the last week so I've been a little conservative and stuck with the max setting for now, but am interested in trying the 24/7 mode assuming my (attempted) HC carpet will still get sufficient light.

I've got a 24/7 and a Current Satellite Plus on a 70 gallon tank, with lots of medium light plants, and the plants are doing well. I think two 24/7 lights on a 55 would be good.
What about running it in 24/7 mode specifically?

On my 65 gal, I originally had 2 x 36" 24/7 lights running in 24/7 mode. However, plant growth was not sufficient and algae seemed to be an issue too. Changed to 8hr photo period using a timer and there was a definite positive change. Healthier plant growth and less algae too (most probably due to healthier and faster growing plants)
Yah, I have some high light plants and thought best to let others with experience on a similar setup chime in before I kill my plants from lack of light.
Here's the trick- run one of your Finnex 24/7 planted lights in the 24/7 mode. Set the other 24/7 light to the highest setting and run on a timer. Say from 10:30am til 5:30 pm, to roughly match the brightest period of the one running in the 24/7 mode. Place the one running on the high mode to either the front or back depending on plant placement needs. This approach should help you support your high tech tank while still giving you the 24/7 pre-programed benefits.
