I got a 3gal nano a while back from walmart. I don't know if this is the same light used in TOM nano tank as it looks similar. Does anyone know where can I get a 18W replacement cfl? I took the light apart and it has 4 pins on the back. I hope this is not something proprietary. Thanks.

Although not proprietary, it's sure not standard. You may be able to find a suitable replacement at Home Depot, but don't hold your breath, you may have to order one from Amazon or such.

I tried home depot but they don't have any cfl bulb that matches the type I have.

The pictures appear to show a 2G11 base on the bulb, but I'm not positive on that ID. If so, and you're running the tank planted rather than reef, you might be interested in another spectrum like 6,500K:

But if you want to try that, I'd recommend looking up dimensions on the 2G11 base and comparing against your bulb, to make sure it's really the right base type.
