17.4 gallon lighting

First off, thanks for any suggestions you give me! I'm setting up my first 17.4 gallon planted tank. I am going to run co2 and was wondering about lighting fixtures and bulbs. Also wondering on the bulb selection both bulbs 6500k or should I chose a different K. I have been reading that 2-3 watts per gallon is what I should be shooting for? Tank measurements are 24 x 12 x 14.4 inches. I am welcoming opinions. Thanks a lot!
