I'm in the process of getting my 6'L x 28"H 150 gallon tank ready, and the only part I haven't quite figured out yet is the lighting. I'm trying to aim for the higher end of low->medium lighting (high enough to grow some plants other than anubias, but not to the point where I need to add CO2). So here are the choices I was looking at: either 2 36" AquaticLife T5 HO Dual Fixtures (equaling 4 T5HO, which I have a feeling might put me too high), or 2 36" Hagen Glo Single Fixtures (equaling 2 T5HO). So which would put me between low and medium lighting without having to add in CO2?

Forgot to mention I'm not absolutely set on those exact fixtures, just that they're in a more attainable price range. I'm open to others, though, if they're better for what I need.

Feel bad for spamming my own thread like a three-year-old who's being ignored, but I do still need the advice. Whenever I think I start understanding lighting I get a very rude awakening.

If it were me, and if the double fixtures can be run with one bulb each, I would hedge my bets and go for the 4x in case I want to bump it up later. Thats a fairly deep tank so you may find you need extra light to penetrate to the lower plants.
