Recently, when googling aquascapes I came across this(http://www.aquatic-eden.com/2010/10/pavel-bautins-first-place-2010-iaplc.html) photo, which really captured my imagination. I initially as thinking of setting up a new 10g tank with some quarentine tanks I have lying around, but I really don't have room for that, and also I don't really want one more tank to maintain. So I decided to redo a current tank. This is it: (hope this shows up - I never attached a pic before)

As you can see the java moss has some hair algae in it (took hold during a few week I fell behind on normal matinence due to issues with my slatwater tank that were taking up my time), which is a pain, plus I am just ready for something new. Currently the tank doesn't have much of a theme other than micro fish (chili rasboras, emerald eye rasboras, habrosus and pygmy cories, sparkling gourami, cherry shrimp). It is a low-tech tank, sand over soil substrate, no CO2, and about 3wpg, weekly dosing with a few Seachem products. We'll see if the change is all I'm hoping for!

Another picture. As you can see the plants are java moss, pygmy chain sword, micro sword, various crypts, and some random stem plants. Sorry the pictures aren't that clear. If anyone has any tips on taking pics of aquairiums I would welcome them. I have a basic, but decent digital camera, but if anyone knows more about settings, let me know.

Wooo pretty, that's going to be a pain to maintain/scape the left side though :D
