It is believed by some they are simply cherry reds from a poor genetic pool which results in pinkish coloring...

If I were you I would setup up a separate smaller tank and add some of your red RCS with these pinkish ones and experiment there, you wouldn't want to possibly mess up the genetics of your current RCSroud:

HMMM you have a point there. That's why I am not charging for the 10 shrimp. I am also eating some money on shipping as I am overnighting these.
It is just too cold to go 2 day priority

Personally I think it is very nice. And besides, it's not like it's a risky test, the shrimp aren't in any extra risk of death or anything, they just have a different color pigmentation.
