I am going to be starting a 10 gallon NPT in the near future and im trying to find the correct lighting for my setup.

Tank dimensions: 17 x 14 x 10 (LxWxH) inches
Substrate: miracle grow organic choice potting mix w/ black sand on top
Heater: 50W @ 78°

Ive read that I need about 2 to 2.5 wpg

I was thinking either 1 spiral cfl @ 23W
Or
Aquatraders 14" power compact fixture @ 24W

Any opinions would be appreciated.

I'd go with 2, 13Watt 6500K spiral CFLs in the SL-201
got mine at Lowes.
