Just picked up a 40 gl breeder. Recently got back into the hobby after about a 10 yrs. I think i'm driving the wife nuts. This will make the fifth tank set up in the last couple of months (I wont tell her how much I have spent:smile2

I did see this too. I think I am gonna skip through the 40B though and pick up a Marineland 65 gallon that I was eyeballing tonight at my LFS. I have store credit there as well as gift cards for christmas so that will practically be like a dollar per gallon for me. It will only cost 62 bucks out the door.

All the petcos around me dont have the 75 gallons unfortunately

It's looking like they haven't sent 75s to most stores. That's kind of a crappy tactic to get people in the store.

The Petco by me has the 75 gallon tanks. I would be inclined to get one if I had more space. One thing that is really starting to make me wonder though... Are these tanks mass produced specifically for the dpg sale? I've been to several different stores looking at tanks and they look like garbage. All the seems are full of spots and bubbles. Mostly the 40b tanks. But yet when I go to Petsmart and check out their Aqueon 40b tanks, they look just fine.

^^I found at the last DPG that many of the 20 talls had racked glass end panels like the crappy tetras we were all so happy to see go?^^
Not just one location but 3 different petcos! I had to go to 3 petcos to get 8 @ 20g that weren't made poorly...You didn't even need to look close,just run your finger along the outside of the corner and you could feel the gap from mis alignment!

Luckily, Petsmart price matches around here.
