Built a 2liter diy co2 yeast. Been set up for about 12 hours now. I have the airline tube attached to the intake of my hob filter. This set up is on a ten gallon medium light tank, substrate is flourite. The intake for the hob filter is a good ten inches into the tank. I know this puts some pressure on the co2 airline tubing. Should I be diffusing it in a different way? Should it be higher in the water column? Is my mixture off? I used 2 cups of water,2 cups of sugar, 1/4 cup of warm water to hydrate the yeast, and 1/4 teaspoon of dry active yeast. Also would you reccomend be dosing a weekly liquid fert? Thanks.
