So, I'm not very experienced in the planted tank hobby compared to some of you, so coming here for advice.
Right now, I've got various rotella, swords, crypts, dwarf sag, and ludwigia in a planted 40 breeder lit with a single fluval 3.0 at about 50% power at 6 hours a day
Here are my specs
75G - 48"Lx21"H width doesnt matter
Finnex Planted+ CC series 48" light (12 hrs of light)
Seachem Flourite substrate - about 2.5-3 inches
GH - 4
KH - 3
Plants - Amazon Swords, MicroSword, Monte Carlo, Lugwidia (I think) and Java Fern
They are in the tank for...
This is growing out of my aquarium.
It's from a Sword Frans Stoffels (Echinodorus Sp. Frans Stoffels). Very similar to Amazon Sword.
Should I stick it back in the water or leave it out?
I stuck it back in once, but it popped back out again.

I've got a pretty low tech setup in a 36 gal with Anubias, Javas, Amazon Swords, Melon Sword, and a new Crypt. The thing is, way back when I didn't know what I was doing and used gravel substrate. I now get that my root feeders would be way better off with planted substrate, but I'm headed off...
Can anyone provide insight onto what might be doing this damage to my swords? Primarily new leaf growth... Possibilities are rainbowfish, SAE, small population of MTS, angel fish, neon tetra, recently added small school of clown loaches (but this damage was there before the clowns were added)...
SOLVED-Looking for Cyperus Helferi, about 10 rooted plants, or even better, potted if you have them. LFS cost is too high. Also looking for dwarf swords (not anything of the "chain" or grassy variety as I have cichlids) as a foreground in a 125G. Also, a large Amazon Sword single.

I have amazon sword and dwarf sag in the right side of my tank. I was wondering what plants i should get to complement these two.
I was thinking about a mid ground plant thats not demanding. Meaning i dont have to dose a bunch of things to keep it alive.
Post any suggestions you got below.
I've got four of these sword plants, they were doing fine when I first put them in the tank. But now new leaves grow in distorted (ravelled edges, small, orange/red tint on the edges). The existing leaves seems to be thriving but new growth looks weak?
I'm not sure if this had anything to do...
Hi guys, i've been a lurker for quite a while so this is my first post. I don't have any feedback yet but i have sold on other sites. Please ask if you have any questions. Thanks!
Shipping is $6 no matter how many plants you buy. I do not treat plants before shipping, so it is...
This ruffled sword is too big for my 10 gallon tank. It just shot up 2 new leaves and is in pretty good shape. There are actually 2, but the daughter is too small to be separated probably.
Pick up only in Massachusetts.
Got some cleaning to do.

This sword is about 7-8 years old, 26" tall from the bottom of the root mass to the tip of the longest, 3" wide leaves. He'll make a stunning red centerpiece to any extra-large tank if maintained properly. I made a little photo essay for reddit about him when I removed him from his tank, so you...
