paludarium floating land

Hi all, I'm interested in making a 30 gallon-ish paludarium with enough water area to keep white cloud mountain minnows. Like 1/3 to 1/2 of the tank. The land would on a false bottom, planted with water-loving plants, and have isopods/springtails. Maybe a semi-aquatic frog if the setup does...

Which, since I was nearly dead asleep, might not be a good one, but i still want to throw the idea out there. There are people out there who want to make a paludarium in a smaller tank, say ten, fifteen gallon, and most of the time, there isn't enough room for fish. Has anyone ever thought of a...
