I need help or advice in a few issues that I'm facing. I have a dutch tank ( 60p size ) that has been running for 7 months. Tank birth date is May 2021.
Soil : Amazonia version 2
Chiller : yes @ 24 degree
Co2 : yes ( 5bps )
Light : high light ( weekaqua a430 pro ) @ 100% red mode...
I've got these three 20 litre nano tanks, all suffering from unstoppable GDA (atleast that's what i think it is). They've been running for three months, and i dont know what to do.
CO2-supply is around 30 mg/l.
The light is a Daytime Cluster 70.3, with one 11W cluster over each tank (6500K).
I had green dust algae for a while and it kept coming back after cleaning it. I read a lot of stuff online telling me to let it go through its growth cycle (6-8 weeks) and then clean it.
The first time I cleaned the tank I only left it 4-6 weeks and it wasn't enough. It came back...
Just thought i'd show some people of what gda looks like at it's final stages (it's been 3-4 weeks now that i've left it alone and seems to get darker and darker as time flies). lt does not bother me that l have it nor am l asking for a cure, l just thought i'd share it with you all. l plan on...
Yes, you read the topic right.
It seems like my shrimp love grazing on this stuff. Baby shrimp will completely clean off two entire panes on a 10 gallon tank in two days!
So my question is...how do I cultivate GSA/GDA on the few extra panes of glass?
I was just planning to somehow hold them...
