So I am running a 55 gallon planted aquaruim with a sump and internal overflow box. I just added CO2 to my system, but am finding the design of my system with the overflow box in the center created split water circulation patterns (see pictures). So the CO2 from the diffuser only circulates on...

Does anyone have any experience/critiques of a Co2 Reactor & Planted Aquarium Surface Film Skimmer? I am thinking about installing one for the increased surface agitation and CO2 disbursement. I have a 90G, 24x48, so limited surface area. I am planning on putting it opposite the intake/outake...

I just installed a DIY Griggs reactor on my Fluval 406 filter. It's 25" long with 2" PVC pipe. The CO2 is fed from an aquateck regulator with a brass check valve right after the needle valve and the glass bubble counter just before the reactor. See pics here...

Hi! I have just bought an Aqua Medic CO2 Reactor 1000. I have noticed that the bps through my bubble counter are higher than the one that go out from the small hose inside the reactor... Is it ok? If yes, which one should I trust to have an idea of how much CO2 I am dosing? Thank you:grin2:

Hey All. I am first time poster and a long time reader of these Forums. After reading through many posts I am torn between what type of reactor to build or buy for my aquarium. I recently upgraded from a diy yeast CO2 system to a pressure regulated CO2 system with a #5 tank on a 29 gallon...

Hello, I just recently upgraded my planted tank to a 60 gallon. As part of the upgrade, I decided to ditch my paintball cylinder and get a 5lb tank for the CO2. I have been reading a lot online about people using their canister filter to dissolve their CO2, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It...

Hey guys, This is my DIY inline Co2 reactor build. It is being built to work off a Eheim 2215 with 12mm or 1/2" hose and a standard 1/8" air line input. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lets start. First i bought a clear syphon from my LFS, it...

hey so my co2 drop checker flooded. I set everything up yesterday, bubbles were going fine. Then it turned itself off for night time with a timer, this morning the drop counter is flooded, and I don't know how to fix it. When I try to unscrew the cap to get the water out water keeps flowing...

I am looking at making a DIY CO2 Absorber, and I am considering two different options. The first is spin off of the traditional Rex Grigg or Cerges style reactors where CO2 is trying to rise against downward flowing water. The twist here is that I would make the body "conic" instead of...

I want to install a submersible pump inside an RG reactor, but how do you install the power cord so that it comes out of the chamber? Is there a valve that allows passage of the socket plug? I know I can install a powerhead inside the aquarium, but I don't have the space for that inside a 10...
