Half doses of Flourish one or twice a month, and a few plant tabs every other water change. I also use Blackwater Extract by Kent. I also use Indian Almond leaves on occasion in this tank (always use them in my shrimp tanks)
Hornwort, Red Ludwigia, Cabomba, Anacharis, Java Fern, Java Moss, Flame Moss, Amazon Swords, Aponogeton crispus, Red Dwarf Lilly, Anubias barteri 'Nana', Italian Val. Now it also has Corkscrew Val, Wisteria, Melon Sword, Foxtail, and some type of Hygro.
18 Cardinal Tetras, 5 Melanotaenia boesemani, 3 Melanotaenia praecox (yes, I know they'll interbreed), 1 Jumbo Neon Tetra, 1 Sunset mix Platy, 4 Albino Aeneus Cories, 3 Emerald Green (Brochis Splendens) Cories, 3 Palateus or Peppered Cories, 1 Julii Cory, about a dozen Cherry Shrimp, 5 Bamboo Shrimp, 1 huge female purple Apple Snail, Red-Rimmed Melania (MTS) snails, Quilted Melania (Tarebia granifera), and Melanoides turricula (another type of MTS snail). They have since been moved to a home where they no longer destroy my plants and eat my shrimp.
Water changes are done every week to 2 weeks.
