This is my blue collar special. My goal was to put this tank together for under $100. I got the tank, light, filter and heater on Craigslist for $40. Robbed the extra 13 watt c.f.light from a six gallon setup. Add gravel $20. Fish $30. CO2 stuff $6. Plants $18. Fert for the next ten years $30.Total $144. Not counting the fert ($30) and the featherfin squeaker ($15) and I almost hit my mark dead on. And you really can't blame a guy for wanting green plants. I live 2 minutes from Petsmart and so I've made this my Petsmart "almost dead so now its on sale" plant rescue tank.
