Not to clog up the main thread but my reply was specific to the question (which product would do better). My response indicated that I did not have success with this light.
But thank you for your reply on the light types. I understand your concern that lighting was not my issue, although my simple experiment with the sunlight seemed to indicate that with natural sunlight, the hair algae could not compete.
I have heard other stories of inconsistency with LED lighting. Since Beamswork is such an inexpensive option, I've wondering if other have had limited success?
