    Hey Burr,
I just finished reading your journal for the second time. Congrats on all the accomplishments. Tanks and plants look awesome. I saw your post in the for sale section. Figured I'd just send you a message. Here's what I'm looking at:
    Gratiola viscidula 12 for 15$
    Hygro araguaia 7 for 12$
    Hygro 53b 6 for 15$
Ludwigia curly tornado 6 for 27$
    Ludwigia pantanal 6 for 18$
    Pogostemon kimberly 6 for 18$

Let me know if any of these are still available. I'd love to make some new additions to my tanks.

    Thanks,
    Dugo

    Good morning, burr740

I hope you don't mind this PM. I'm planning to convert my 125-gallon reef tank into a planted tank and I'm modeling my T-5 lighting after your selection of T-5 bulbs. I was able to get the bulb you suggested to replace the "Red Sun" bulb. However, I have not been able to purchase the Giesmann Aqua-Flora (Or the Super-Flora). I've tried online vendors without any luck. A vendor stated that there is a problem getting Giesmann bulbs out of Germany. I was hoping that you might be able to suggest a bulb that is similar to the Giesmann Aqua-Flora or the Super-Flora that would compliment the combo on my fixture. The other bulbs I have ordered are, ZooMed Flora x 2, Wavepoint Sunwave x 2, Wavepoint Red Wave and the Eye Hortilux 633 to replace the URI Red Sun. I hope this request is not an inconvenience for you. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    chulai48 (John)

Hey burr! I saw your post on your 75 gallon journey. Looks good! I have a question...I picked up a Homalomena "Sekadau South" the other day and I fear it may be a terrestrial plant....I saw that you have/had it in your tank too. Is it growing ok in yours still?
    Thanks for the help!

    Hey there,

So I'm writing you because my plants are beginning to not do so well. Tank's been running for 5 weeks, and I've got algae of various kinds. It's growing on the glass, there's hair/film algae on some of the older growth of some plants, and what I think is green spot algae on many leaves. Also some plants are turning yellow. The last time that I pm'd you, you advised me to cut down my EI, and I have for about two days. I've been running a photo period every day from 2 to 9:30 PM, so 7.5 hours. I don't have the ability to move my lights up/down, or turn part of them on/off. I'm wondering whether you would think that shortening the pp for a week or two might be a good idea? What else might be causing my plants to turn wrong colors (yellow/brown)? Do you think that the delay with getting CO2 working gave the algae a head start? If so, should I ditch plants/plant segments and start over? Any help you could give (direction to head) would really help thanks in advance!
