Co2 leaking at the plunger plate!!!

Well it seem that when I was installing my glass bubble counter, I damaged the plunger plate. A 5#lb tank lasted a little less the two weeks. I tried tightening the screws and filling down the edge but it just can't get it to seal again.

No idea what a plunger plate is, at least not in reference to aquariums.

On the selonoid it self. There is a metal plate that you screw in to hold the the spring acting plunger and creates a seal. Well it no longer seals and it's leaking Co2 pretty fast.

Take it off lower the bubble rate and run it that way until you get a new one.

Ah, okay. Yeah, time for a new solenoid. You could do what Bruce suggests, though my choice would probably be to turn off the lights and not use CO2 if delivery was only going to take a few days. If it might be longer than that, I'd manually turn the CO2 *and* lights on and off together until I replaced the solenoid.
will5 and will5 like this.

Think I'll go with your opinion as it would make me feel more safe.
