How to wire Burkert 6011 24V DC Version Solenoid

I got a few members asking on how to wire a 24v DC version of Burkert 6011 solenoid. Here is a quick easy way to do it. See below for more details.

I use the following power adapter for two years and going strong. They are cheap $5-$6.

Ebay:
US Plug DC 24V 500mA Switching Power Supply adapter

If you have the 120v version:
http://www.barrreport.com/forum/barr...-6011-solenoid

Power coil is different than the 120v:

Unscrew the long bolt:

Use a flat-head screwdriver and pop it open (where the arrow is pointed):

24V DC only required two wires, ground wire is optional. It can be spot 1 or 2.

Loosen two screws, then push the wires all the way in and tighten it. Use your hand and pull it gentle. If the wires doesn't come off, you are good to go.

Finish product!

Nice write up, great explanation!

One question as the one I found on fleabay doesn't exactly match the one in your picture. The one I see is coming from Hong Kong and is currently $4.50 and $1.10 to ship. I ask because I think the model number in the pictured listing is ALD10 (I think) and yours shows 0032.

Would you say this is still the one to get(even though it'll take a few weeks to ship)?
Thanks!

Make sure it has similar power voltages and you should be good. The models changes as you would expected.
