How to connect/set up two solenoids in series
Hi, new to posting here but have found a wealth of info that has helped me set up a successful planted tank. Thanks to all for sharing the knowledge!
I have slowly taken my tank from no plants, to low tech planted, to high tech. A couple of months ago I added 6 discus to my tank. Plants and fish are doing great. I'd like to keep it that way so was wondering if there is a way to run two solenoids in series so that if one sticks open the other one would still close. I have a PH controller so was thinking I could just plug both solenoids into the controller so that it would open and close them both at the same time.
Anyone do anything like this? How do I go about connecting it to the output of the first solenoid? What is a good solenoid to buy? I currently have a cheap regulator (Fzone). It works really good, but I'm sure it doesn't have a high quality solenoid.
