Does this look right?

I feel like the parts that thread together should be a tighter connection but they are as snug as I can get them.

these are the right fittings and parts, but you will probably need to work on it again, use a bench vise and foot long crescent wrench.

and it takes a little bit practice to wrap the teflon tape tight on the threads, then make perfect arrangement of the parts with the right tools.

this is one of my setup, with similar parts.

I bought a kit off CO2Art which you can see in image #4 in my post below, as comparison it also has visible thread so I wouldn't worry about it. Be sure to do a leak test when put together do (brush soap water around any joints), as I emptied a CO2 bottle in less than a week by not doing it I'd say it's well worth the effort.

For teflon tape, you should wrap about 3x full wraps of tape, being careful not to get any tape on the inside of the pipe which can clog small ports and openings downstream.

You can use a mild soap/water solution or something like windex to look for leaks when you are done.

It's fine as it is.. Well if you like rube goldberg/stempunk kind of assemblies..

All my reg builds are screwy for one reason or another. Doesn't effect function but does sometimes change cabinet fit or tippiness..
Main thing is if it doesn't leak.
Believe you can re-position just the mouse coil but have to look that up..
See pg 1 and the RED WARNING!!!

Iíll give it a shot and see how it goes. Does it matter how it is plugged in? The attachment is clearly a positive and negative but I canít see any indication on the solenoid.

Oops - I already took that apart! It would be nice if DIYCO2 provided the directions!

Actually- I might be ok. I unscrewed the top from the bottom to reorient the plugs. If Iím reading the diagram correctly the spring part (the red part) was not removed.

The clippard solenoids, I open many....

it all depends on how you put back in the parts in specific order and orientation, if no clue there is 75% chance that get it wrong, but once know how, you can never get it wrong, lol.

The real problem is it is easy to loose the metal washer if open the solenoid, once it is missing the solenoid is useless.

the solenoid is bipolar, no matter it is positive or negative prone.
