does anyone use the ribbed tube with inline co2 diffuser or they sub out with regular tube? let me know the setup.
also is 307 to much flow for 20G long or 29G, should I downgrade to 207?

I do. You just need a pair of the fluval rubber hose adapters. Spliced it right in no problem. This was what I used for my 207 16/22 sized ribbed tubing. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I used the same, and feel that Fluval could add a pair of these to new filters and make a lot of our lives easier. As for the size, I'd think a 207 would be adequate but lots has to do with fish load, need for flow, etc.

Nothing good happens fast in an ecosystem.

I have the 307 on a 29-gal. It runs through a UVS and a Griggs reactor, plus about 6 feet of 5/8" tubing (I replaced the ribbed tubing). Output is a 2-foot spraybar. Filter rating is ~300 GPH and I measure actual output at about 130 GPH, which is what I expected and why I bought the extra capacity.
