how much CO2 actually

hi. I read to many sites the rule of 1 point of PH corresponds to 30ppm of CO2.
If in my tank which I have 8 PH and 4 KH start to inject CO2, I will get 30ppm at the 7 PH or i will get 30 ppm to 6.6 PH as the chart of PH/KH/CO2???

forget the chart and drop checker. yes if pH is 8.0, you want to get to 7.0 by the time the lights come on. you may have to start injecting co2 a few hours before lights come on. also increase surface agitation, you need good gas exchange. you may want to invest in a pH pen.

I have ph controller and I measure my change water which I find 8 PH. I also check the waste water from my aquarium's water change and I found it again 8 PH. But when I inject CO2, I bring the PH to 6.2 before the light are on and my drop checker is lime green and no fishes gasping for air. With the chart is logical, but with 1 PH point drop, is far away.
My ph controller is calibrated and is new.

Woah, you’re saying you do a 1.8 drop in pH? That’s pretty extreme!

Do you have like 0 Kh or something? Otherwise, double check your test kits. Chemical ph test, a new drop checker fluid etc

Believe me I checked everything twice. KH is 4 and I used 2 different probes, both calibrated. I even test my co2 with danerele guick test and JBL instant test. It's like the chart comes true compined to the 1 PH drop method.
Anyway my fishes and plands looks better now, algae disappear and this it convinces my theory. Compare to chart
