All in one tank- filter noise/ general questions

Hello everyone,
I'm planning on returning to the hobby after a few years away. I'm thinking of doing a planted nano tank in the 5-7 gallon range. Right now I'm thinking of going with an all in one tank, possibly a fluval edge or fluval spec V. My question is can anyone who has worked with these tanks speak to how noisy their filters are? I'm going to have this tank in a studio apartment (and I'd like to sleep) so quiet will be ideal. If you've worked with these tanks, or any other all in one tanks in the same size range and have more general thoughts about the tanks/ your experiences with them I'd love to hear. Thank you!!

I have had a Fluval Spec II and I currently have a Fluval Flex 9. My experience with both is that they are no louder than a low hum.

I have the Fluval Edge, Fluval spec 2, 3 and 5.

Filters are not noisy at all... just make sure they are primed (people complain because they get air trapped in the lines... and it makes a gargling noise).

One warning with fluval Edge... it is super sexy looking- but aquascaping is a nightmare in that tiny little hole in the top. Gravel vac, trimming, catching fish, planting.... its a experience in itself. I cant bring myself to get rid of it.... but it is quite the drama.

Giving back creates a virtuous cycle that makes everyone more successful (as long as they cycle!)
7 Tanks and counting..... plus all these critters to feed critters
