XP Aqua Ultimate ATO Auto Top Off

If you run a sump sooner or later you will atleast consider an automtic top off system since WaterBox partnered with XP Aqua I pulled the trigger on thier Ultimte ATO. Ican say it works well but mine had a few issues which got me aquainted with joseph with their support team. I can say that experiance has been stellar. Once a full return was needed. the unit was tested and returned in working condition Later an issue developed with the sensor controllerunit and later there was a pump failure. in each case a replacement for the failed component was sent out promptly free of charge. You just can't beat good support.
asfor the function and features their website says it better than I could. Truth in advertising is nice, too.

Nice to see an ad which seems to give lots of the details on the equipment with far less blowing smoke than many ads I see. Maybe they think it is actually a truly good product so that the smoke screen is not needed?
One question that is actually meant as a question, not a complaint, involves the solenoid location when doing RO. They note that it needs to be located to avoid sediment clogging the solenoid and that is good thinking to even be aware and even better to mention it. But then I wondered if that location was best as it is after the sediment filter but before the actual RO. I have really hard water and letting the normal hard water deposits, which will not be filtered out by the sediment filter, might be something I would want to keep out of the solenoid. I find that the minerals will gum up my check valves if I let the water get to them, so I wondered how it might work for their solenoid? Perhaps the larger passages in the solenoid will not be bothered?
Humm! Maybe just one of those things to watch for as you go along?
Looks like a nice find from here!

Thank you for the review, as it was on my list.
But 3 component failures in a brand new unit? I'd rather have a unit working out of the box then getting to know their excellent customer service.
