gal high pressure atomic co2 diffuser question

since this is a high pressure system, how do i use a check valve? since you dont screw the tube in to place with the check valves i don't see how it will work with the pressure

other question is about my co2 regulator, i am using a Milwaukee co2 system, and i was sure it had a built in check valve, but i took it apart since i had to buy a 3 way splitter for my other aquariums that are not running high pressure diffusers, and when i fill the built in bubble counter it drips out, so im not sure anymore if it even has a built in check valve.... confusing

helppp!

thanks!

There is no check valve in the Milwaukee regulator assembly. I think the JBJ one had a check valve in the base of the bubble counter, but I could be wrong about that.

Downstream of the regulator, it is not a high pressure system. That is the area where check valves are useful. They come with hose barb fittings, so you just scoot the CO2 hose on them.

I bought a replacement gauge for $12 at a local welding shop. They offered to put it on for me.

Preferably, you get a quality brass check valve, as it will last a lifetime. You can use the cheap plastic ones as well, but they will get hard with time due to exposure to CO2.

To take it off, you'll need a vise to grip the regulator and a good pair of pliers to really torque the pressure gauge off.
