Can a betta eat a shrimp that's almost as big as he is?
Do plecostomuses eat shrimp?
Why are shrimp so darn cute?
Why are shrimp so darn expensive?
I love shrimp!

90 gallon: 180 W, eco-complete/gravel, pressurized CO2,10 otos, 1 SAE, 1 peacock eel and some other fish
20 gallon low tech: A few swordtails, 3 neon tetras and java fern
10 gallon low tech: dwarf puffers, crypts and moss (no blue green algae for now)
10 gallon low tech: Cherry shrimp!!! crypts, moss, java fern
55 gallon no tech: tin foil barbs and plastic plants

I can't fiind shrimp anywhere near here..
We get a few occasional shost shrimp but thats it.

I want some cherries or something..

When it warms up a bit in your neck of the woods try Frank's Aquarium. I got some bumblebee shrimp from him months ago that are still doing great.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

Your answers are not completely accurate...

As for plecos, I have a 7" albino common pleco living with my predatory African Cichlids. I feed them frozen Krill, and often the larger pieces take some chewing to eat. The pleco has been seen many times munching on the larger pieces of Krill, but it may just be the shell he's interested in. I don't know if this is common practice, and I also do not believe this is evidence of predatory behavior in any way/shape/form.. your shrimp aren't at risk, but their bodies may be subject to pleco scavenging should they meet with an unexpected demise.
