when to cull>?

at what size should i cull neo shrimp for color >?

size can be a hard thing. males most of the time will be less colorful than the females and smaller too. most females dont fully color up till they start breeding. if they have saddles and not as good a color as you want i say cull. and just keep a few males that are the best of the group and work from that. it does take some time to get them to breeding age though

As you get more experienced, 1st cull can be at juvie age, 2nd cull at young adult.

Keep in mind some vars of cherries don't get full color until at least their first berry.

Males are generally not as heavily colored as fems.

And culls may color up in the future (which is why come people use a cull tank.)
