Another feeding?

I only have 15 RCS sizes 1/2" and no fish. I tried to give them zucchini, hikari algae wafers and shrimp cuisine but they don't run and swarm the food. They eat a little and move on to something else, and the rest of the food just getting moldy. I have them for almost two weeks now and they've grown, I see them constantly eating but not much from what I give, I guess enough algae in the tank. My question, can I just feed them maybe every three days?
Here's their 17g tank.
KH 5, GH 7, TDS 200 PH 7.6 at night and 6.8-7.0 daytime/Co2, Temp 75.8 F

+1 also if the tank has been up and running for while there will be enough bio-film for that amount of shrimp to keep them happy

That sounds good. Nitrates went up because of uneaten food, it's been corrected now.

With the lights I have med/high and EI dosing i need the Co2, It's little less than 1bps in a 17g. The drop checker turns green after 3 hours and I'm only running it for 7 hours. I had it at 3bps but since I got the shrimp, I adjusted it. The korallia powerhead gives a gentle movement for the plants. As you can see, the driftwood is blocking much of the flow thus creates a gentle current.

Koralia powerhead = shrimp blender

But for your question, 15 shrimp usually won't swarm anything. Now if it was 50 shrimp, they probably would. It's just that not all of your shrimp will be hungry at once, and when there's plenty of food available, there's no hurry to eat it all quickly, because it'll still be there in a few hours.

Yeah I lost couple from the powerhead when I first got them, they're still being blown when they get in front of it. I lowered my Co2 again to half bps, this tank was not intended for shrimp at first, just ended up to be one, for now. I will only feed them now every three days.
