P diffusa eggs?

I noticed something that looked like a piece of pink chewed bubble gum above the water line today. I'm assuming it's p diffusa eggs, because I don't have anything else in the tank that could do that.

Anyway, I don't care that they all surive. If I get a few out of it, that'll be great.

Do I have to do anything special to get a partial hatch? I coincidentally ordered two assassins because I started gettting bladder snails in the thank.

So, assuming some of these snails hatch, do I need to feed the tank differently?

Currently they're getting Om Nom Nom, algae wafers, blanched zucchinni, squash, spinach, and kale (no, not all at once). Oh, and almond leaves, oak leaves, and a variety of fruit tree leaves.

Thanks!

You are correct what they are. Feed the babies same as you do adults. I move mine to hatch but you can leave them too

assassin snails will eat the babies. You have time to debate if you want to keep the babies or not.

You can cut the egg sack with a sharp knife or razor blade and just hatch a few. I usually take the egg sack off the tank and put it on a damp sponge. I then put the sponge in a plastic container with the lid just sitting on top of the container and not snapped in place. I also add a small amount of water to the bottom of the container. Then you can either float it in the tank or put it in a warm place. Keep in mind you can get a lot of baby snails from one egg sack. They will quickly over work the biological filter as they grow. The babies eat whatever the adults eat which means anything. LOL

So, since assassins will eat the kids, maybe what I'll do is move the p diffusa (maybe any especially pretty ones) that I want to keep to my other tanks.

I don't know if these are kids of magenta and ivory or magenta and magenta.

I'm going to start a dirted tank once I figure out the logistics, so that would give me another place to put baby snails while I figure what's going on.
