Shrimp ID

What kind of shrimp are these?

When I bought them the store had the tank labeled as "Orange shrimp", but none of the pictures I've seen on google have the white/light orange stripe like these.

Probably one of the orange varieties of cherry shrimp (either pumpkin or sakura). Since cherries get the strip sometimes, it seems feasible to me that cherry variants might get the stripe too.

These are the only shrimp I've kept, so the stripe is just a variation of color like red cherry shrimp with the 3 white stripes?

Looks like cherry shrimp to me. I personally like the stripe on my shrimp, gives random ones more character, and to different degrees. a couple of mine, the entire rear end of the shrimp is that stripe colour.

Is there any sure way to tell their sex? The one on the left is noticeably darker and a little bigger than the one on the left, which I read is usually how you can tell if it's a female. I've had them for 7 months and they haven't breed yet so I'm thinking they're the same sex.

darker meaning fuller colour, then yes. also, the walls of their tails go down much further like a curve pointing down, which helps protects the eggs. sometimes they will have a noticeable "saddle" in their backs, which are the females unfertilized eggs.

A little blurry but I'm thinking the first picture would be the female and the second the male because of the color.
