Newb at maintaining RC tank...need some advice

Ive been having random red cherry deaths in my tank....it seems like it happens every time after i feed them, but everything else seems legit. Ive been feeding them Hikari Sinking Wafers, and within 24 hrs ill have a body or two. Tank is somewhat thriving with babies and plants are lush. I do weekly 30% water changes. Ive had the tank for about 4 months, cycled it for 2-3 months before introducing the RC. I thought i mightve been over feeding them, but even as i cut back on feeding, from 2 pellets to half a pellet, deaths were still occurring. im considering switching food brands to see if it helps. any suggestion on what to do?

Parameter:
6.8-7.0 ph
2* (0-50ppm)
11* (100-200ppm)
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
0 nitrate
476 TDS

your TDS if awfully high. I don't have any experience with TDS, so I can only tell you that it's abnormal.
Zero nitrate? how?

You should check your tap water readings. I have a feeling you might need to switch to RO water. Do you feed any fresh veggies? Might be feeding too much protein, do feed any other prepared foods? I mix tap with RO you can get from the grocery store.
