Question Any ideas as to whats on the sponge filter?

Any ideas what this might be? I did have BBA in this tank on the sponge itself. But, that is gone by now. I just wanted to make sure this isn't something that will hurt my shrimp colony. Thanks!!

Sincerely, Unikorn

I think the term is detritus worms, because they pop up when there is excess feeding and detritus which builds up on the substrate. They are different from nematodes and I think nematodes are parasitic.

There's different kinds of nematodes, but to my knowledge the vast majority in the aquarium are non-parasitic.
