I'd look for some in Hawaii, since any respectable business would know it's illegal to ship them to Hawaii

But yeah, these usually come from Germany where they are common. Maybe look into buying some from a German. They were imported to the mainland here a while ago, but I haven't seen anyone having luck with them. I made my own by mixing taiwan bee and tangerine tigers, but they do not breed true, and I haven't been pursuing that coloration in my breeding project.

Yeah I know it's illegal to import but I was wondering if any one in the mainland has success breeding these guys. I hear that breeding white bees with they throw out some mean hybrids
