Cherry Shkrimps! (featuring pineapple sword juvies)

I must thank Fdsh5 for the RAOK these guys arrived a few days ago and are settling in nicely, only one shrimp fatality out of so many, very happy

<DISCLAIMER> my tank is in need of some scaping and it looks a mess, Im waiting on supplies for christmas and I will be making it planted with UP soil

1. a little guy on top of the centerpiece in the middle of the tank, the top of the edge gives you perfect clarity!
2.Same guy found some noms!
3. feeding time! If they arent hiding in the flame moss they are out eating

The swordtails are feeling a bit camera shy Ill post them up when I can

Have you given consideration to the idea that the fish will eat your shrimp?

I have the swordtails in with cherry shrimp and they don't eat them as fast as they reproduce. I do have lots of plants in there for them to hide in.The swordtails will hunt juvi shrimp in my tank but the adults swim right by the swordtails without an issue

Yeah that was a thought I had Soothing Shrimp, after talking with Fdsh5 and hearing his/her experience with the swordtails I decided to give it a shot. So far they seem to be cohabitating fairly well. I also have lots of hiding spots, and a mass of flame moss they love to hang out in . Eventually I want to have a shrimp only CRS tank in my evolve 4, cherries will help me get the experience I need. Also I forgot to mention a few are already coloring up, woot!
